About Gravelcyclist

Gravelcyclist is a cycling community that organizes gravel, road and cyclocross races. We run about 30 races a season. Entry is free, and we publish the results on Masters Cycling Stats.

What we organize

The Gravelcyclist gravel series has twelve routes from 45 to 183 km on dirt roads, gravel and asphalt, some of them with fords. The main race is the 183 km Old Kaluga Road. See the race calendar.

Tour de Klenovo, our road series, has been running since 2014. In season we hold a training race on a loop of about 20 km every weekend: riders choose 80 or 100 km and start in several groups.

We have held cyclocross races since 2018, and the 2025–26 season opened in October 2025.

Who races with us

Both amateurs and professional riders come to our starts, and local clubs and sports schools use the Klenovo races for training. Stepan Grigoryan of the Armenian national team won a Klenovo race in July 2025, and in October 2026 the winner was a 16-year-old junior who had raced the Junior World Championships in Montreal two weeks before.

Racing abroad

Oleg Lazarevich, who regularly wins Gravelcyclist races, has also raced in Georgia and China.
